Chris Korteweg (1981) started making photo's when he was quite young.

After he finished high-school he started a study for photography and video-techniques which made him discover more options of working with reflex-cameras. Years of photographing followed. During these years he focussed more and more at the beauty in simple things. Something witch dosn't require you to look far away, as long as you know how to look. This quest for beauty became a discovery trip thu home-envirement. Nowadays his photo's are mostly abstracts.

Even Chris (his photo's are signed with 'Sidder') switched from analoque to digital but alltough computers give a lot of manipulating opportunities, he tries to keep his photo's 'pure'. The photo's shown on this web-site are not manipulated but realy made by camera (unless written differently).
